Expanding Reach in Eastern Indonesia, Cinema XXI Opens The First Theatre in Timika
Timika, October 30, 2024 – PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (Cinema XXI, stock code: CNMA), the largest cinema chain operator in Indonesia with more than 35 years of experience in the film exhibition industry, officially opened the first cinema in Timika (Mimika Regency, Central Papua Province), Diana Mall XXI. “The presence of Cinema XXI in Timika not only strengthens the business but also expands Cinema XXI's cinema network across the archipelago, especially to eastern Indonesia. In addition to Timika, for the Papua region, Cinema XXI is also present in Jayapura, Sorong, and Manokwari,” said Head of Government Relations Cinema XXI Suprayitno.
The opening of this new location reflects Cinema XXI’s commitment to providing the widest possible access for the people in Indonesia to enjoy the best movies in cinemas. Suprayitno continued, now people in Timika no longer need to travel to other cities to enjoy the best movie watching experience in cinemas.
